David Lucey

Mr. Lucey is based in Boston and has over three decades of experience in the real estate and data center industries. Currently he serves as Senior Vice President-Global Operations at Digital Realty. In this role, he works across the organization to guide and support key internal initiatives that underpin Digital Realty’s global operations.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Lucey held a broad range of roles at Digital, including most recently as the Head of Digital’s Hyperscale Leasing and Development Group. During his tenure at Digital, Mr. Lucey has also served as Senior Vice President, Investments, during which time he focused on acquisitions, dispositions and joint venture transactions; Head of Portfolio Management (North America) where he was responsible for leasing and overall financial management of Digital’s North American assets; and Managing Director – APAC where he oversaw Digital’s business operations in the APAC region.

Before coming to Digital, Mr. Lucey held leadership roles at Pembroke Real Estate, a global real estate investment/management firm affiliated with Fidelity Investments, and the Fidelity Real Estate Group, a private equity real estate investment group owned by Fidelity Investments.

Mr. Lucey began his career as a Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP.

Mr. Lucey holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree from Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut and a Juris Doctor from the Vanderbilt University School of Law.
