Jacob Susman

Jacob Susman is a clean energy industry leader with over 25 years of experience scaling renewable energy ventures. Currently the Head of Energy Origination & Partnerships at Google, Jacob has a proven track record of building and exiting high-impact companies. He founded OwnEnergy, a leading mid-market wind developer acquired by EDF Renewables, and subsequently led origination for EDF’s U.S. grid-scale business. He later launched Ambient Fuels, a green hydrogen startup acquired by Electric Hydrogen. A co-founder and board president of the Cleantech Leaders Roundtable, Jacob is a recognized industry voice and active advisor to multiple organizations. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School.
