Sandeep Dudhwewala is Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and M&A at Vistra. In this role, Sandeep is responsible for driving the corporate strategic planning process to align Vistra’s purpose, vision, strategy, and prioritization of initiatives to deliver on strategic priorities. Sandeep is also responsible for driving inorganic growth through M&A and for innovation through partnerships for emerging technologies and business models.

Before joining Vistra, Sandeep was Vice President of Utility of the Future Transformation for National Grid New York. In this role, Sandeep was responsible for activating National Grid’s clean energy vision and strategy in New York and defining the roadmap for the clean energy transformation of the power, heat, and transportation sectors. Before joining National Grid, Sandeep worked in Corporate Development and Strategy at NextEra Energy driving growth strategy and planning for NextEra’s renewables and utility businesses, as well as M&A and operational excellence programs. Earlier in his career, Sandeep worked as a management consultant supporting various industries, and as a technology strategist in the software industry. 

Sandeep is a graduate of the University of Rochester where he got a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Computer Science. He earned his master’s degree in computer science from Stonybrook University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
