Sergej Mahnovski

Sergej Mahnovski is a prominent energy executive currently serving as the Managing Director of Strategy, Technology, and Innovation at Edison International. He leads the company's corporate ventures and strategic plannings teams, identifying and commercializing growth opportunities in clean energy, grid edge technology, and transportation electrification. 

Sergej previously serves as the Director of the Utility of the Future team at Consolidated Edison. He also serves as the head of energy and sustainability for NYC Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, where his team was responsible for developign and managing citywide energy, sustainability, and resilience strategy (PlaNYC) and was awardede the Citizens Budget Commission Price for Publi Service Innovation. Sergeh has served as Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. He was previously Director for the Glboal Power Group at IHS CERA and Fellow at RAND Corporation. 

Sergej hodls a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and B.A. in History from Stanford University, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee Rand Graduate School.
